As an avid player, I have learned a few valuable lessons while wagering over the years. It does not matter if you prefer to play at the land based’ type or the many net casinos. Here are my golden rules of gambling, many of which might be looked at as common sense, but if abide by they will assist you in going a long way to leaving with money in your account.
Rule 1: Go to a casino with a set sum that you are ready and are able to manage to spend – How much would it cost for an evening out on diner, cocktails, cover charges and tips? This is a perfect number to use.
Rule 2: Do not take your credit card with you – or any other way of withdrawing money out. Don’t worry about money for the taxi if you burn all your cash; most cab operators, in particular the cabs hailed by casinos, will drive you home and will be more than happy to wait for the moola when you get home.
Rule 3: Stick to your predetermined cap. I constantly think of what I would want to purchase if I win. The preceding time I was able to go, I decided I’d quite like to buy a new digital camera which cost about $400, so that was my predetermined threshold. As soon as I achieved that figure, I quit. Just stop. Even if Mystic Megan herself approaches with you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and walk away. Depart comfortable in the knowledge that you will certainly be proceeding into the mall and buying a great brand-new toy!
Rule four: Have a good time. When you are "enthusiastic" you usually will win. It’s a certainty. I don’t know the reason why, but it really is. Immediately after it becomes a job, or you are simply playing to earn $$$$ you have lost, you will give up even more. When you are succeeding, experiencing a great time with your friends, or your significant other, you will certainly win more and more.
