The conclusive number of Kyrgyzstan casinos is something in some dispute. As data from this country, out in the very remote interior area of Central Asia, tends to be hard to achieve, this may not be too bizarre. Whether there are 2 or three authorized gambling dens is the element at issue, maybe not quite the most all-important piece of info that we don’t have.

This seems most bewildering, so we can likely conclude that the number of Kyrgyzstan’s casinos, at least the approved ones, is limited to two casinos, one of them having altered their name recently.

The state, in common with almost all of the ex-Soviet Union, has experienced something of a fast adjustment to commercialism. The Wild East, you may say, to reference the chaotic conditions of the Wild West an aeon and a half back.

Kyrgyzstan’s casinos are actually worth checking out, therefore, as a bit of anthropological research, to see chips being gambled as a type of social one-upmanship, the aristocratic consumption that Thorstein Veblen talked about in 19th century u.s.a..
