If you like to have a beer from time to time, leave your money out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Only take only the money you anticipate to spend on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to lose and leave the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You can experience a win after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to hook a marathon roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story because it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and bet. These activities just do not go well together.

Leaving your moola at home might be a bit drastic, but preventative actions for dramatic behavior is required. If you wager to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to blow your money nary a worry, then consume all the no charge beer your stomach can handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your drunk as a skunk head squanders everything!

Permit me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then go on the internet to play in your preferred internet casino either. I love to beverage from the comfort of my house, but since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and bet.

Why? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, cocktail.
